blue house farm

If you eat organic food in California, it likely comes from a place like this:  Blue House Farm in Pescadero, a 30 acre organic farm run by Ryan Casey et. al.  They feed lots of us here in the bay area. This weekend we ate an entire local pig (roasted on an open fire behind the barn), danced until 3:45 am, and enjoyed the (literal) fruits of Ryan's labor...  the most robust strawberry harvest I've seen in a long while...  lovingly turned into pies, tarts, crisps, and salads by dozens of creative and ambitious friends.  Not to mention, kale, broccoli, lettuce, squash, leeks, onions, chard....
Bridge into field 2...  peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, leeks, brussels sprouts.
Chard World....

A glimpse of what life might be like after grad school...
