cowboy and bingo

The Holy Grail of beach treasures:  a message in a bottle! Found Saturday, February 20, 2016 just south of Newport, OR.  This bottle had traveled a little over 200 miles in 12 days.  Not bad for a bottle! Lots of south wind has been blowing, so I'm sure that helped. 

Wrote a little message, added it back to the bottle, and then chucked it in at the Newport Jetty.  Watched it for as long as possible as it tried to float out past the grinding incoming waves...  Hope she made it back out to sea! Bon Voyage...
