PCT, Oregon & Washington Section Hike: Aug 24 - Sept 16, 2014
The following twenty-odd posts were written in backwards chronology. These posts detail my last 400 + miles of the PCT in Oregon and Washington this summer, a section hike completed in about 24 days in late August and early September, 2014. I am posting them now, and will do the same backwards chronology with my California PCT section from earlier in the same summer so that it reads easily in Blog form once completed. This may be too much to digest. But if anyone wants to know what it was like, I've included my completely honest, 100% un-edited journal entries for each day on the trail. These are not always eloquent, but do capture the simplicity of thought that the trail provides. The journal entries for each day are in italics, and are usually found at the bottom of each blog page after the photos.
