If you can run 20 you can run 26... (I've been told).
I did my last long run in my old home, a little tour of the past to keep the mind occupied whilst trodding along the asphalt (bleh... asphalt) for my capstone run.
Excited to get the marathon behind me so I can go back to the woods! But my joints and bones and tendons seem to be grateful for a few long runs on the street to prepare them for the upcoming journey. Woke up the next day and felt as though I had rested all day. No soreness, no aches. Just a keen desire to push myself farther, as always.
