this is some Banksy art i saw in the Mission, just off Valencia in San Francisco a few weeks ago. hell yes! love this guy, so stoked to see some of his graffiti live and in person. amazing.
as for other art news. my own crappy paintings will be hanging at the Lizard Lounge in Portland for the month of June. first thursday... opens June 3rd. The LL does it right, some free drinks, etc for the First Thursday crowd. go check out my recent water colors, which i won't bore you with here on this blog of mine. half of all the proceeds from the art sold will go to Surfrider. keep our oceans free and clean and happy.... you know the drill. there will be several surf-related artists featured there in June along with yours truly.

now get out there and get some sunny golden waves... the water is warm. the whales are in town. the birds are singing their songs and the waves... oh yes: wet caves of water, green and foamy and plenty of smack-down these last few days.
